Jacqueline Kabeta
Executive Director
SAIMED Director, Jacqueline Kabeta, has an impressive amount of experience under her belt, having worked in the media for over twelve years. She has worked at Zamcom as training and production manager in the television department before serving as a free-lance media specialist. She holds a B.A from the University of Zambia and M.A in Journalism and Media Studies from Rhodes University S.A. Jackie’s(fondly known) motto is “Take actions that produce more of what you want of your life” and she is certainly poised for action since being employed at SAIMED in January 2006 as Director.
Rachel Nlanda
Programme Officer Emerging Media
Rachel Nlanda, the Program Officer (emerging and community media) joined SAIMED in February 2003. She has encountered working for both ‘old’ and ‘new’ SAIMED, contributing immensely to the transition period.This year Rachel took up the challenge of pursuing MBA with the University of South Africa, as an endeavor to enhance her management proficiency.
Clement Sibanda
Commercial Unit Assistant and Technical Officer
Clement Sibanda, the Commercial Unit Assistant and Technical Officer (Commercial Media) worked at RIPCo in the information unit as intern in 2004. He Joined SAIMED in 2005. He holds B.A in Public Relations from Midrand Graduate Institute in South Africa. Clement’s Joining SAIMED has coincided with the introduction of the Commercial department.
Lindiwe Nyirenda
Administration and Accounts Assistant
Lindiwe Nyirenda, the Admin and Accounts Assistant, joined SAIMED in August 2005. She has worked at PG Timbers as a temporary debt collector. She holds Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) from Botswana Accountancy College (BAC). She is currently pursuing her ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) at Term Technical College.
Boikanyo Masebe
Office Orderly
Boikanyo Masebe, Cleaner/messenger, joined SAIMED in 2003. She is the backbone of all SAIMED rush hours.
