Restructuring
SAIMED has undergone a restructuring period looking at the following:
- A new director has been appointed to carry on the vision and purpose of the organisation.
- The organisation now has an Assistant Commercial Unit and Technical officer.
- Administration and Accounts Assistant has been employed.
- An operational sustainability plan was developed to actualize the intended strategic plan of the organization.
- A new training structure and methodology was developed to facilitate a better delivery programme.
- The financial systems of the organisation have been restructured to facilitate better planning and controls.
Other developments
SAIMED New offices
SAIMED has taken office at SAMDEF for office space. The space is used for administration and for the workshop/conference room. The conference room benefit SAIMED, companies, the government and private organizations that want to hold workshops and seminars.
SAIMED Consultants Database
SAIMED has developed its consultant's database. Consultants cover different areas of expertise and they are placed within SADC region.
